Home Sweet Home.

Never been more happy to be back at home.

Well, at least i can walk around in public without Princess worrying about me. I think the past few days Princess had been such a sweet - looking after me, making sure my grastic-prone stomach gets fed on time, always on a look out for me and my belongings, holding my hands in crowded place so that i wouldnt get kidnapped.. Love ya, SMUACK! =)

It was a fun and exciting and enjoyable and tiring short holiday but i am glad we both had some break from our busy hectic work life. =)

Looking forward to the next break. *winks*

Carpe diem.

Once in a while, people wake up fresh in the morning with sheer determination to do what they have to do - to invent, to create, to fight for freedom, to change the world.

This is the morning for me. I knew it.

I woke up knowing clearly what i have to do and where i have to go. I understood the true meaning of the phrase "一寸光英一寸金,寸金难买寸光英" and suddenly carpe diem became the motto of my life.

There was this one thing i have to do and it is senseless to procrastinate any longer...

DIM SUM FOR BREAKFAST!
we tired a few new dishes. the crispy fried thingy with prawn mango mayo stuffing was good!

It must be the watching-Princess-packing-while-i-pretend-to-help-and-act-busy last night that made me so hungry. Everything also looks nice. Everything also i want to eat. I pointed-around "alittle" too much and forgot about the plate of roast meat results in eating dim sum enough to feed 3 people. hehehe..

Shopping in KL!!

Not much of photos were taken today as most of the time were spent going in and out of shops!! I think PS is so sick of shopping now that i think he would even give me ALL his monies if that would make me stop stepping into another shop. hehehehe...

Enough of the exorbitant cab fare, we decided to travel around by their public transport. Its pretty exciting and its cleaner than i thought. whee.. =)

Everything was fine until we head back to the hotel. We got kinda lost in this train station..

There was so many people and we could not really find signage for the monorail. We look left, walk right, look there, walk here and took about 40mins before giving up and asked for direction.
For our last dinner, we decided to go to Jln Alor again. Thoughts of the sambal lalah melting in my mouth makes my mouth water.. hahaha.. okok. i know i am greedy but it was really nice.

We tried the other stall, just in case its nicer than the one we tried the day before. To my dismay, IT WASNT!!! the lalah was overcooked and therefore quite hard and not as sweet, the kangkong is old and not as nice and the coconut is tasteless and the flesh is hard!! ARGH!! i just cant stand eating not nice food when i am hungry and expecting good food.

So, doting Princess convinced anger King that if the King were take a little stroll to help digest the food, Princess would buy King the chicken wings and the tempura abalone mushroom which i have been drooling for since i saw it on tv. The stroll was pretty worth it. There was lots of thing and people to see - people with only pretty mesmerising eyes revealing, interesting night life, fascinating people and my SUPPER!

YUM!

this is so so so so so nice. nice is an understatement. really.
its even nicer with the salad which we only found out after eating quite a bit of it. haha..

So nice to sleep after eating such _______ food.
Its not really hard to figure out why i am so not skinny, eh. lol.

Day 2 - King Arthur and a new friend.

Was supposed to wake up at 6 am to go to the bridge.. but anyway by the time we finally wake up.brush teeth.dig nose.shit.shower.get dressed.curling lashes [princess also].eat.read newspaper.see whats on tv. (see so many things to do in the morning right.not my fault that we were late.) the tix are all out and all we could do was to stand at the bottom of the bridge and look up at the tall tall tall building.

not too bad still right.

Princess loves taking photos of water..
maybe he is just testing his camera.

more water photos.

kl tower at the back.

After spending like 20 mins outside in the hot and scorching and sweltering heat - taking photos, admiring the scenery, doing all the tourist tourist stuff, we decided to seek refuge in the building. Its cooling and nice inside.

with nice 'ceiling' and..

nice price for using the TOILET!! regretted a little for not going in to see how 'premier' it is. But its 2RM PER ENTRY and not a one time charge loh. Maybe they should make it a one time charge and employ someone to stamp chop on the wrist..

Meet Dr. Strong-Tron..

and my little man friend!

aint he cute?

Princess dont really look exactly as excited as me though. He looks as if he lost something or robbed. But who cares? i have a new friend to talk to! So next time if Princess throws those petty tantrum or gets lost in his own world again, i have some one to accompany me! =P

i finally got 'this' little green man on camera.
waited for like 2 traffic lights.

i like this photo.
looks like a mag cover photo.

a closer shot of the little green man.

I think SG should have little green men like this too. Then maybe people would have a reason more to wait for the green man before crossing the road. Really!! ALL the time when we were in KL, we NEVER cross a road when the red man was on, because i want to watch the green man walk. its effective. =)

lunch at nandos. i miss aussie.

After lunch we went back to the hotel and we saw this..

marilyn's?

.vintage.

it feels like marilyn monroe could be popping out of the car any time. hehehe.

Have you ever talk so much that you ran out of words? Well i am having one now.. at least, all most running out. hehe.. the rest of the day was spent up in the KL tower waiting for sun set and at the eye in the night.

I think the view up the tower was pretty nice but too bad it was a little cloudy. and i still love the sunset i saw at the top of telstra tower.

world's tallest flagpole!

do you see what i see?

now can you see it already?

Photos taken at the eye.

Dinner at the ship. slurp.

Streets at night. arab festival, they say.

yawns. sleep.

Princess Sophia and King Arthur goes KL.

After taking turns to sleep and watching the bags and feeding the mosquitoes at the lobby and after the sun has come out, we went for dim sum breakfast.

Doesnt the pau looking thing looks shiny?
The zhu chang fen is so far the nicest i have ever tasted.
Nicer than old market's and red star's.

The porridge was good too. Luckily Princess dont like it
after a mouth of it.
I had it all to myself! Muahahaha...

We ate a whole lot of other things but i was
too busy stuffing myself to take pictures. =)

While we ate like happy Princess and King, ordering so much food that filled the table and having the whole restaurant's serving staff to ourselves, the hearty meal only cost 40RM!! Hehehe..

On our walk back to the hotel, i saw something interesting.

TADA!!

Traffic lights with green man that can walk..

erm.. okie.. Princess says that he's camera shy..
but i think he's playing hide and seek with me.

Random photos of day..

Found this cute little guy while walking around
Berjaya Times Square. Aint it cute?

Cosmo Theme Park.

View from the room.

Another view.
Love the feeling of being able to watch
busy traffic from the top.
Dinner at Jln Alor. Its the first time i ate lalah. Shiok!
Very sweet and no fishy taste.
We had sambal stingray and BBQ chicken too.
But they were late for the photo taking session. Too bad..

End of day 1.. =)
