Princess Sophia and King Arthur goes KL.

After taking turns to sleep and watching the bags and feeding the mosquitoes at the lobby and after the sun has come out, we went for dim sum breakfast.

Doesnt the pau looking thing looks shiny?
The zhu chang fen is so far the nicest i have ever tasted.
Nicer than old market's and red star's.

The porridge was good too. Luckily Princess dont like it
after a mouth of it.
I had it all to myself! Muahahaha...

We ate a whole lot of other things but i was
too busy stuffing myself to take pictures. =)

While we ate like happy Princess and King, ordering so much food that filled the table and having the whole restaurant's serving staff to ourselves, the hearty meal only cost 40RM!! Hehehe..

On our walk back to the hotel, i saw something interesting.

TADA!!

Traffic lights with green man that can walk..

erm.. okie.. Princess says that he's camera shy..
but i think he's playing hide and seek with me.

Random photos of day..

Found this cute little guy while walking around
Berjaya Times Square. Aint it cute?

Cosmo Theme Park.

View from the room.

Another view.
Love the feeling of being able to watch
busy traffic from the top.
Dinner at Jln Alor. Its the first time i ate lalah. Shiok!
Very sweet and no fishy taste.
We had sambal stingray and BBQ chicken too.
But they were late for the photo taking session. Too bad..

End of day 1.. =)

Alicia's - if i aint got you

Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within
I've been there before
But that life's a bore
So full of the superficial

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

Some people search for a fountain
Promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them

Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
with no one to share,
with no one who truly cares for me

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

If I ain't got you with me baby
Nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me baby

50th Entry.

To celebrate this 50th entry of this little blog of ours, we went for dinner at ThaiExpress. I had my all time favourite, curried soft-shell crab, and Princess Sophia had crayfish with glass noodles.

After we had our full, we called for the bill. I finally could flashed my NEW ORANGE CARD Princess Sophia got me last week. Not showing off here. Just being simply happy. =)

Just as Princess Sophia was settling the bill, a man walked in with this..

... for me! My FIRST bouquet with F-I-V-E calla lilies!!

I was surprised. I lost my words.

I was suspecting something when Princess went outside to make a call to "his mum" because he never calls he mum to tell her he is not going home for dinner. Hahaha.. What i did not expect was flowers from him! Aint him sweet.

After an eventful dinner, we went hand in hand to watch Phantom of the Opera. Too bad the flowers cant go in with us to enjoy the musical.

The musical was simply great. It is quite interactive with the audience and i love what they do with the chandelier. Full of surprises everywhere. The cast was good and so was the orchestra. =)

Poor Princess. While he got me flowers and tickets i only got him an apple. Not the computer or anything if that sort. just 一粒苹果

Anyway i have decided to name the F-I-V-E calla lilies. Just in case they die one day, at least i have their names to remember by.

This is Aadi - beginning.
Compared to the rest, she seems like the youngest.

This is Blossom - pretty.
She is starting to bloom.

This is Cameron - bent nose.
He got squashed and is pretty messed up.

This is Dawn - sunrise.
She is beautiful. Just like sunrise.

This is Evan - young warrior.
He is a brave soldier that went to war and got injured.

These are some other colonies of flowers that lived on the bouquet.

So for as long as i lived i shall remember that on my first bouquet i had 5 calla lilies - Aadi, Blossom, Cameron, Dawn and Evan.

It has been quite a walk,
but i am glad it is with you..
*hugs*

King Arthur And The Witch.

Took this from an email my friend sent me and since its about me, i have decided to put it up to share. =)

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question?...What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.

He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened?

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

What would YOU do?

What Lancelot chose is below. BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY?

Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now....what is the moral to this story?

Scroll down

The moral is.....
If you don't let a woman have her own way....
Things are going to get ugly .

* haha.. its kinda true eh, princess? =)
